The Chenrezig Institute was established in 1977 and remains one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist centres in the western world.
As well as hosting numerous classes and retreats, the centre is home to a Tibetan lama, a large community of nuns and monks, and numerous students, residents, volunteers and guests.
