Because of their furry little pals, some pet owners pass up the opportunity to travel. They are concerned about various issues when they leave their pet in the care of others, and even more so if they decide to take their pet on vacation. But there’s no need to be concerned because Sunshine Coast Motor Lodge is a pet-friendly accommodation and ready for your arrival.

Pets are welcome at the Motor Lodge Motels Sunshine Coast. Two (2) pet-friendly accommodations are available: a Queen Room for two people and a Twin Share Room for three people. Each booking includes a dog bed or more (according to availability) and bowls and dog treats. It means you can bring as many pets as you like to share the room with. They must, however, be well-behaved and potty-trained.

Apart from the accommodation and outdoor area for your dogs, there are other sites nearby where you can take them, including:

Kimnat Little Market and Cafe

It takes about a minute to drive from the accommodation to Kimnat Little Market and Cafe. The cafe features indoor and outdoor seating, which is ideal for pet owners.

When it comes to food, Kimnat Little Market and Cafe offers a variety of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan breakfast and lunch options. Try their vegan big breakfast, pancakes, Indian-inspired vegetable fritter and more. Coffee, smoothies, and pastries are also available.

This pet-friendly cafe is unique in that it has a small shop with various gifts, housewares, and jewellery. Check out what souvenirs are available to take home as a memento of your trip. Kimnat Little Market and Cafe is open from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.

Grounded at Woombye

Grounded at Woombye is another fantastic coffee shop to visit. It will only take two minutes to get to this beautiful cafe, which serves excellent coffee, delectable pastries, and fantastic food. Try their vegan Ground Winter Bowl, Eggs Benny, or Green Japanese Pancake for breakfast. Alternatively, try a Latin Free Range Chicken Burger, Smokey Pork Burger, or Vegan Burger from their Grounded Burger menu. These go well with their smoothies, shakes, and coffee.

These can be enjoyed in the delightful outside seating area, including straw umbrellas and water bowls for your four-legged companions. If the weather makes you want to stay indoors, there are a couple of tables inside the cafe.

The Birds and the Beans Cafe

If you don’t mind a 14-minute journey, go to 116 Burnett Street, where The Birds and the Beans, a new espresso bar, is.

The cafe was Vandy’s Garage, but the owners preserved parts of the decor. So you can sit back and relax while sipping your coffee and taking in the rustic atmosphere of the cafe. The Birds and the Beans also have comfortable seating, such as antique sofas and mismatched chairs and handcrafted tables.

Aside from their fantastic coffee, The Birds and the Beans also offers thick and frothy hot chocolates and cakes and slices.

In addition to pet-friendly cafes, you must also take your furry pals to dog parks. Here’s a list of dog parks in the area.

Petrie Creek Dog Park

Let’s start with the one that’s the nearest to the accommodation. Nambour’s Petrie Park is about a 7-minute drive away. Now don’t worry about parking as it is accessible for park visitors. The park is also traversed by footbridges, making walking or biking a fantastic way to observe it. Also, keep your eyes peeled because Petrie Park is thriving with wildlife.

Furthermore, your pet is free to run around on the playing field without a leash, but only when it is not in use. They must be on a leash in the rest of the park and on footbridges.

Sippy Downs Dog Park

Sippy Downs Dog Park in Chancellor Village Park is a 13-minute drive away. This beautiful dog park is a lovely place for dogs to run around. There are gardens and plenty of places to sit and relax in the shade for humans.

Buderim Dog Park

Buderim Dog Park is the last dog park on the list. The 17-minute travel is well worth it because the dog park provides a secure place for your pets. They can spend hours walking or playing in this vast, enclosed park. There is also a separate gated area for little dogs in the dog park, which is fantastic. The park is indeed a secure environment for both little and large dogs.

But what about their humans? There’s an undercover gazebo with seating where dog owners can relax while their dogs play around.

Are you all set for a holiday? Make your reservations now! Lastly, it would be best to double-check that you’ve completed all of the necessary arrangements before departing on your holiday with pets in tow.
