The Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival returns for four days of laughter and fun. The festival will take over 16 venues from the Sunshine Coast to the Hinterlands from November 10 to 13, celebrating all things LIVE COMEDY.
Time to get ready because the festival promises more extensive and better entertainment! On November 10, you can attend The J’s Opening Night Gala, hosted by MC Andy Saunders, or Nightquarter’s Opening Night Extravaganza, hosted by Sam Coward. Both feature a star-studded lineup of comedians.
Catch the ‘Best of British’ stand-up showcase with Georgie Carroll, Rory Lowe, and Dan Willis for a top-notch night of some of the best British humour. It is the Festival Circuit’s most popular international showcase. Top British comedians have been delivering laughs for the last 14 years, as seen on Live at The Apollo, Comedy Store, and Netflix.
The Aboriginal Comedy All-Stars bring colossal belly laughs from the heart of the vast brown land, with sell-out seasons and 5-star reviews. Sean Choolburra, Kevin Kropinyeri, Andy Saunders, and Steph Tisdell are among Australia’s top comedians in Aboriginal Comedy All-Stars.
What about a nice beer and a good laugh? Then go on one of the Craft Comedy Beer Tours offered by the festival. Join Rory Lowe or Ben Knight for a tour of the best breweries on the coast, followed by a side-splitting performance by Heath Franklin’s Chopper.
This year’s Craft Comedy Brewery Tour will begin at Taps in Mooloolaba, traverse the coast for a couple of hours of great beer, food, and laughs, stopping at four of the region’s BEST breweries, and conclude with a brilliant comedy show. Tickets include lunch, beers, transportation to and from Mooloolaba, and a comedy show.
