When swimming at the beach or in the pool on the Sunshine Coast gets a little repetitive, Kondalilla Falls is where to go next! This well-loved scenic treasure is in the beautiful Kondalilla National Park of Montville. You’ll have to be a little adventurous and get your boots on to make it to the falls, but the stunning Kondalilla waterfall as well as getting to swim in the plunge pool at the end will make it completely rewarding for all.
Get your boots on and embrace the challenging yet fun 4.7km Kondalilla circuit, that offers fantastic scenery and rock pools. Bring your swimwear and camera too as there’s many places to stop for a swim and a good photo. This trek is known to take between one to two hours, so bring a picnic and some water, but as long as it may take it is well worth it and a great way to see some real Australian scenery as well as getting some exercise along the way. After completing the fun scenic walk, take a dip in the plunge pool at the base of the Kondalilla waterfall and cool down in the fresh, clean water. Don’t forget to snap that selfie!!
