Take your whole family to a weekend or two of fun, festive and mostly free child-friendly events. The Pine Rivers Festival showcases all the region’s offerings for all members of the family. Nine separate events are jam-packed in two weekends of activities everyone will enjoy.
Perfect for dad is the free `Rodz, Rock `n’ Roll Car Show & Shine’ where more than 350 pre-1979 vintage cars, retro market stalls and fireworks display could be seen.
Mom will surely enjoy the biggest community celebration ever seen in the Hills District: The Hills’ Carnivale. This free event will be a cultural journey of food, fantasy and entertainment that includes markets, roving characters and live music.
For kids, the Dayboro Day Festival is where they could witness a hilarious street parade as well as experience a breathtaking helicopter ride over the D’ Aguilar Ranges.
The Pine Rivers Festival runs from May 18, 2013 to May 26, 2013 at the Pine Rivers District, Sunshine Coast. The event is a short drive from our Sunshine Coast Motels.
