Dozens of spectators and surfing enthusiasts will once again gather on the sundrenched golden sands of Coolum Beach to be part of the annual Queensland State Junior Surfing Titles.
Crowds of supporters and spectators will certainly have a blast in the much-awaited surfing event in the region and bet on their favourite surfers, who will battle it out at the competition and vie for the much-coveted surfing title.
Taking place on 13 to 14 September on Coolum Beach, the Queensland State Junior Surfing Titles will bring together young and brilliant surfers from across the region. Competitors will be divided into different age categories for male and female including the state’s best Under 18, Under 16 and Under 14 male and female surfers. All of them will outshine each other to secure the prestigious state junior surfing crowns.
Aiming to get that sought-after slot in the Queensland's State Junior Surfing Team and that rate opportunity to represent the state for an interstate competition, the Australian Junior Surfing Titles, the most talented surfers in Queensland will all showcase their best and set to impress the crowds with an exciting and remarkable surfing action. This major surfing event is scheduled to happen later this year and will see all the best of the best Aussie surfers, following the pathways of iconic surfing pros such as Bede Durbidge, Joel Parkinson and Mick Fanning, among other celebrated surfers who have previously played in this much-awaited event.
For this year, Surfing Queensland is very pleased to let everyone know that they will be selecting two wildcards into the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Tour’s 2015 Quiksilver and Roxy Pro’s trials. Final winners from Queensland’s Under 18 Male and Female State will each be given a wildcard to compete in the trials event and get the chance to play against international elite surfers at the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro’s.
